Daytona 500 paint schemes for all 45 cars entered in NASCAR's 2025 season opener

Every year, the NASCAR Cup Series opens its season with its biggest event on the 36-race calendar: the Daytona 500. A 500-mile race around the iconic 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway track, it's the most coveted checkered flag in the sport.

This year for the 2025 Daytona 500, there are 45 cars entered, but only 40 will make the cut to qualify for Sunday's season opener. The 36 charter teams with full-time Cup drivers are guaranteed Daytona 500 entries — though not starting position — while the remaining nine drivers will be fighting for the four remaining spots.

Some of the big names trying to race their way into the 2025 Daytona 500 include seven-time Cup champ Jimmie Johnson, 2017 Cup champ Martin Truex Jr. and four-time Indianapolis 500 champ Hélio Castroneves.

DAYTONA 500 ODDS: Blaney, Logano and Keselowski lead early odds for NASCAR opener

There is one caveat, as NASCAR noted: "Castroneves and Trackhouse Racing intend to utilize NASCAR’s new Open Exemption Provisional to secure a starting spot in the 2025 Daytona 500. If Castroneves does not qualify for the 40-car field via single-car qualifying and the Duel races, he will start in position No. 41 — benefiting from a new provisional rule NASCAR announced earlier this year."

So ahead of NASCAR's qualifying events for the 2025 Daytona 500, here's a look at all 45 drivers' paint schemes, by car number.
