Stunning and high-flying photos from the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials

The best gymnasts in the country competed over the last weekend in June at the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials in St. Louis, vying for a coveted spot on Team USA this summer at the Tokyo Games.

Simone Biles was the only sure thing about the Olympic Trials, and she'll have a chance to leave Tokyo with up to five gold medals.

She'll be joined by Sunisa Lee, who guaranteed her spot on the team by finishing second to Biles. Jordan Chiles, MyKayla Skinner, Grace McCallum and Jade Carey round out the rest of the team.

On the men's side, 2021 national champion Brody Malone won the Olympic Trials, and he'll be joined by veteran Sam Mikulak, Yul Moldauer, Shane Wiskus and Alec Yoder.

Gymnasts perform some wild and truly unbelievable moves that regular people can't even imagine attempting, and those moments lead to some spectacular photos. Here are some of our favorites from the U.S. Olympic Trials.
