On Tuesday, Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi retired from basketball. Taurasi had an illustrious career spanning 20 years. The 11-time All-Star's tenure included three WNBA championships, a WNBA MVP and a host of incredible stats such as leading the league all-time in scoring and made 3-pointers.
Along the way, she battled against some of the league's best talent, including Caitlin Clark. Following the news of Taurasi's retirement, Clark took to Instagram to share a fitting one-word tribute. What did she say about one of the best ever to do it? "Legend," Clark wrote to her stories.
