Manchester City beats West Ham to win the Premier League

All Manchester City had to do Sunday was earn a draw against West Ham to deny Liverpool and capture its second Premier League title in three seasons. City's final-day comeback in 2012 was one of the most thrilling games of the decade, but there was no need for clutch heroics at the Etihad this itme around, as Samir Nasri struck the title-clincher just 39 minutes into the game.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany doubled the team's advantage in the second half after a ball fell kindly to him off a corner kick. Liverpool managed to come back from a 1-0 defcit to take the lead against Newcastle, but Kompany's goal all but sealed the title.

Fans stormed the pitch after the final whistle, creating an amazing scene in Manchester.
