Braxton Miller poses with Dr. James Andrews after successful surgery

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller underwent season-ending surgery to repair his torn labrum in his right (throwing) shoulder Tuesday morning. He injured it a week ago during practice.

According to his Instagram, everything went well.

"Me & the best to do it , Dr. Andrews after surgery today! So happy this man said everything went well!" Miller wrote in the caption.

After seeing via Instagram that his buddy was out of surgery, well-known Buckeyes fan LeBron James reposted Miller's photo with a feel-better message of his own

"Excited and Happy my lil bro @braxtonmiller92 surgery went great! Thanks to the best Dr. Andrews! You'll be better than ever. Have a speedy and full recovery bro. See you soon! #GoBucks #OH #IO," James wrote.

Miller had surgery on the same shoulder in February after injuring it during the Orange Bowl. He's said he intends to return to Ohio State next year and complete his final year of eligibility.

Even though he won't play in 2014, Miller was voted one of the team's captains this season.
